Many ran away from TV to capture the reach of cord-cutters. There are claims that OTT media allows you to refine your target and increase efficiencies with CAC and LTV. There are also many myths about superior tracking of OTT media.

Liz DeAngelis, VP Digital Strategy at Media.Monks, has over a decade’s worth of digital media buying experience, launching her career at M&C Saatchi Mobile in the “year(s) of mobile” before working with brands such as Cadillac, Staples, and Goldman Sachs during her time at Dentsu and IPG. She spent five years at The Ad Council before joining Media.Monks to lead the Programmatic Display & Video Practice, and now leads the media planning and cross-channel strategy group for mid-market and larger brands. She has firsthand experience with the evolution of TV buying, from the days of CTV and OLV being offered as added-value placements in upfront agreements, to leading an enterprise finserv brand to run addressable TV with tremendous success. Today she focuses on introducing high-growth, performance-obsessed brands to CTV’s ability to drive growth and improve ROAS. She is currently based outside Boston with her family, debating the pros and cons of having chickens when she’s not making the case to her clients about “the forgotten mid-funnel.

Andy Barr is the Managing Director at Uplift, an agency that provides creative, ad buying, and software to Democratic campaigns, organizations, and other firms. Prior to founding Uplift, Andy was a political consultant for SKDKnickerbocker in Washington, D.C., communications director for U.S. Senate Candidate Richard Carmona, and political reporter at Politico and The Hill. After a decade in Washington, Andy, his wife, and daughters are now calling Berkeley, CA, home.
